Note: Lattice DEI dashboards have been moved into the Analytics Explorer.
Lattice provides real-time data within the Analytics Explorer that combines demographic and performance data to help people leaders set goals, make informed decisions, and track progress toward building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.
Available DEI Demographics are:
- Gender
- Age
- Race/Ethnicity
- Sexual Orientation
To access the Analytics Explorer navigate to Admin > Analytics > Explorer.
Before you start
- An admin can import the following demographic fields via HRIS or CSV import:
- Ethnicity / Race
- Gender
- Sexual orientation

Race/ethnicity and sexual orientation data are not automatically synced and brought into Lattice from your HRIS. Learn how to view the percentage of demographic data available.
- If you have not previously synced race/ethnicity or sexual orientation data, you must manually link the field to the default field.
- If you are already syncing data, but the custom field is named anything other than ethnicity or sexual orientation, you must manually link the field to the default field.
- If you have a custom field in Lattice titled ethnicity or sexual orientation, it will automatically sync the existing data to the respective default field. This will not replace the custom field but duplicate the data.
- DEI data cannot be retroactively updated to reflect updated employee identities.
Headcount demographics
Headcount data provides an overall look at representation within the company headcount, currently and over time. Admins can filter by demographics (gender, age, ethnicity, and sexual orientation) in addition to default and custom fields.
To view headcount demographic data:
- Select the Headcount data point.
- Add a demographic filter.
Equity
Equity data provides an overall view of different demographic filters to uncover any differences in product adoption. Admins can track progress over time to ensure programs are equitable across employee groups.
To view equity data:
- Select the Adoption data point.
- Choose a product action.
- Add a demographic filter.
Inclusion & belonging
Inclusion & belonging data allows admins to compare sentiment against your largest demographic to accurately benchmark how feelings around inclusion and belonging change across groups. Update sentiment powers inclusion and belonging.
To view inclusion & belonging data:
- Select the Sentiment data point.
- Add a demographic filter.
