Do manager changes impact engagement and pulse survey results?
Answer
Once an engagement survey is launched, survey analytic configurations are locked. Therefore, manager changes will not reflect in active or ended surveys.
For Pulse, Lattice captures demographic info (manager, department, etc.) a couple of times: first, at the time of sending the Pulse, and second, at the time of response. The second data check overrides the first. If an employee submits their response BEFORE their manager changes, the results will reflect their old manager. If an employee submits their response AFTER their manager changes, the results will reflect the new manager. The employee data will accurately reflect both the participation and results analytics.
