The Compensation Settings page is where super admins and compensation admins are able to bulk upload key compensation information for their employees.
Navigate to Compensation Settings from Admin > Compensation > Settings.
Employee Compensation
In this section, you can:
- See how many employees are assigned base pay data and equity data.
- Use the Upload CSV button in this section to update:
-
Employee base pay and variable pay
- This data is required for compensation cycles and for the Total Compensation product.
- Employee pay data can also be updated on the Employee Pay page, via updating the employee record in the Directory, or via external HRIS sync to Lattice. Making updates in any of these locations will update the same employee pay record.
-
Employee equity
- This upload is for existing equity grants, and this equity data is used only for the Total Compensation product. Existing equity grants are not referenced in compensation cycles.
- When uploading equity, you can either upload equity from Carta or upload equity data from other providers.
-
Employee base pay and variable pay
- Click the ellipsis > Delete all employee pay data or Delete all employee equity data. Deleting all data will erase everything that has been previously uploaded for employee pay or equity respectively. This action cannot be undone.
Hourly Compensation
Set hours for use in calculating annualized budget impact for hourly employees during compensation cycles. By default, the estimated annual total hours is 2080 hours.
At this time, it is only possible to set a single estimated annual total hours for all hourly employees.
Compensation Bands
In this section, you can:
- see how many compensation bands exist
- Use the Upload CSV button to add or update bands. This is the same upload as on the Compensation Bands overview page. See Bulk Upload Compensation Bands for details on using this upload.
- Click the ellipsis > Delete all compensation bands to delete all existing data immediately. This action cannot be undone.
Currencies
Here, you can choose a default currency or add additional currencies with conversion rates.
