Once you have navigated to the Notification Center, there are two options for how notifications can be sent when it comes to the Time Off tool— through Slack and/or through Email.
Time Off notifications are sent as follows:
- When a direct report submits a Time Off request.
- When a Time Off request is approved for an employee.
- When a Time Off request is denied for an employee.
Notifications for Managers:

Message Body: [Direct Report's name] just submitted a new Time Off request.

- Buttons: Approve or Deny
If the manager chooses to deny a Time Off request, they will prompted in a new Slack modal to give a reason for rejecting the request.
Notifications for Employees:
When the Time Off request has been approved:
