Introducing your team to Lattice Compensation
Below is an email that you can use to introduce your team to Lattice Compensation and explain why they are important. You can change the information in the email to align more with your team's launch, but make sure to answer three key points in your launch email:
- What you are doing
- Why you are doing it
- Your expectations for the team
With that in mind, here is a sample email format that you can use to introduce your employees to Compensation in Lattice:
Hi Team,
We’ll soon be using Lattice to streamline our compensation cycles, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Our commitment to fair and equitable compensation is central to this change. After a compensation cycle ends, employees can easily access their compensation statements.
We'll be launching [NAME OF COMP CYCLE] on [DATE]. Please create your Lattice account by [DATE] if you haven’t already.
Our Compensation Philosophy:
[Every organization has its own approach to compensation, and we strongly recommend you provide some context to your organization regarding that philosophy. It is important to include the following information:
- How are merit-based compensation increases determined?
- How are other forms of compensation determined (bonuses, equity, etc.)
- Who will be performing recommendations and approvals during the compensation cycle?
- How frequently will compensation cycles be run?
- Are there any criteria for eligibility into a compensation cycle?
- Are promotions included in this compensation cycle?
Training:
We’ll offer training for all people managers involved in the compensation process to answer any questions you have about Compensation. Please sign up for one of the sessions that works well for you. Managers only need to attend the manager training.
