Performance summarization summarizes feedback and reviews that have been written in the current cycle about the reviewee into key trends for reviewers while completing their reviews.
To generate a feedback summary, an employee needs to have received at least 3 pieces of feedback during the time period. Depending on permissions and visibility, all public and private + manager and manager-only feedback will be included in the analysis.
Note: To utilize Performance Summarization, an admin must enable Lattice AI for Reviews. Learn more in Manage Lattice AI Access.

Use these templates to inform your team about what to expect:
- People Managers: During this upcoming review cycle, Lattice will provide AI-generated feedback summaries for your direct reports when writing their downward reviews. These summaries are based on the visible feedback your report has received in Lattice during the review period. We encourage you to use it to jog your memory of what has happened over the last [year, half year, or quarter] and incorporate cross-functional feedback into your review. Remember, AI analysis isn’t perfect – it may be inaccurate or contain implicit bias. Please use your best judgment when leveraging any AI-generated content to inform your written assessment.
-
For non-people managers: During this review period, we have enabled AI-generated feedback summaries based on feedback that exists and is visible to you in Lattice. Your manager will have access to feedback summarization from any feedback within Lattice that is visible to you and your manager. When you write a self-evaluation, you will have access to feedback summarization of any feedback visible to you within Lattice. For peers and any upward reviews, you can also access AI summarization of feedback publicly visible within Lattice. These summaries are designed to help you remember and recognize the accomplishments of you and your team over the review period and incorporate cross-functional feedback into the evaluation. We want to recognize that AI analysis isn’t perfect – it may be inaccurate or contain implicit bias. Use your best judgment when leveraging any AI-generated content to inform written assessments.
