Admins can share a Charts custom views with managers. When a report is shared with a manager, the manager will only be able to view data for their reporting tree.
Share a saved view
- Create a saved view.
- Select the share icon
at the top of the page.
- Within the Share with dropdown, select the employees who should have access to the report.
- Select Save changes.
Manager Point of View
To access the shared view, managers can navigate to Reporting > My views. The visible data respects the permissions of the user that the view was shared with. Managers can only see data that pertain to their reporting lines (please note that managers of managers will see data for both their direct and indirect reports). For example, if an admin shares a 1:1 report that includes the whole company, a manager with access to that view will only see their direct reports.
