Question
How do questions cycle through Pulse?
Answer
If your question bank has more questions than the set questions cadence, the algorithm will randomly select the questions asked. After the first pulse, the algorithm will do its best job to ensure that the next pulse questions are not duplicated. If your question bank is the same number of questions being asked on the set cadence, then the same questions will be asked on every pulse.
If you have eNPS turned on, this question is considered part of the count, so if you have 5 questions on your question bank and a cadence of 5 questions, the eNPS question will be counted as one of those 5 questions, thus only choosing 4 questions from your question bank.
Each employee sees every question at least once before they receive the same question again. Let's say you have a weekly cadence set with a 60 question survey and a 5 question limit. An employee would receive 5 random questions per week for 12 weeks, i.e. until they have seen each question once. Then it would cycle through the questions again.
