Troubleshooting why a 1:1 meeting may be going out at the wrong time
Lattice allows 1:1 participants to select a different time zone for each 1:1 meeting. If you are receiving 1:1 reminders at the wrong time, the first step is to ensure the time zone is correct within:
- The 1:1 Settings page
- Your Profile Settings page
- Your device
1:1 notifications use your personal time zone in Lattice. If you do not have a time zone, 1:1s will automatically display the UTC time zone.
Before you start
- Time zone is applied to each 1:1. You will need to confirm that the time zone is correct for each 1:1.
- If your 1:1 is connected to a calendar, you will be unable to adjust your time zone within the 1:1 Settings page. Instead, ensure your profile settings and device are set to the correct time zone.
- Post-meeting notifications will only be sent if new action items or notes were added to the agenda during the time frame of the current meeting and not during a prior meeting.
Troubleshoot time zone from the 1:1 Settings page
- Navigate to People > My profile > 1:1s.
- Under Upcoming 1:1s, select the 1:1 you would like to troubleshoot.
- Select Settings.
- Under the Time zone dropdown, select the correct time zone for the 1:1.
Troubleshoot time zone from your Profile Settings page
You will also want to ensure that you have selected a time zone on your profile page so that all notifications and reminders come through at the correct time.
- Navigate to Account > View profile.
- In your public profile, navigate to the Details button located in the top right of the page.
- From there, click on the pencil icon next to the Personal set of fields at the top of the page.
- You can then edit your timezone field and save changes.
