Admins can create test users to view the employee and manager user perspective. Instructions will be dependent on your email provider.
Gmail
For Gmail, set up test accounts using your own email by adding a "+1" and "+2" after your name. For example, if your email is vivian@lattice.com, the emails for your test accounts should be vivian+1@lattice.com and vivian+2@lattice.com. Gmail will ignore everything after the "+" so you will still get all of the email notifications for these two employees, including the invite email.
Use Test Employee and Test Manager to name the test users.
Outlook
For Outlook, create an email alias associated with your Microsoft Outlook email.
- Go to Your info and select Manage how you sign in to Microsoft
- Select Create a new email address and add it as an alias.
- Create a new test email address and click on Add alias.
Your new email alias should now be listed under Manage how you sign in to Microsoft from your profile info under Account alias. Your primary Outlook email address will be used to sign in to your Microsoft Outlook account.
Use Test Employee and Test Manager to name the test users.
You'll be able to use the username and password that we give you to log in, however, you will not receive any email notifications or be able to test that part of the experience.
