Invite the Lattice AI Agent to your 1:1s

Lattice Agent in 1:1s can join your new or existing 1:1 meetings to capture key discussion points, and automatically generate summaries, action items, agenda suggestions, and coaching insights directly in Lattice.

Getting Started

Before inviting Lattice Agent in 1:1s to a meeting, ensure that:

  • Your admin has enabled Lattice Agent in 1:1s for your organization.

  • Your calendar is connected to Lattice through a recurring meeting (required for scheduling and meeting detection). The AI Agent is not available in ad-hoc meetings.

  • Both participants have access to Lattice Agent in 1:1s enabled in Lattice.

Lattice Agent in 1:1s currently supports:

  • Google Calendar with Google Meet

  • Outlook Calendar with Microsoft Teams

  • Zoom meetings

To successfully invite the Lattice Agent in 1:1s:

  • Connect your calendar to Lattice before inviting the agent.

  • Ensure the meeting includes a supported conferencing link (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom).

  • Invite the agent at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting start time.

  • Verify that both participants have access to the Lattice Agent in 1:1s.

Create a New 1:1 and Invite the Lattice Agent

Step 1: Connect Your Calendar

  1. Navigate to 1:1s in Lattice.

  2. Verify that your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar is connected.

    • If your calendar is not connected, you'll see a banner prompting you to Connect Calendar.

  3. Select Connect Calendar and complete the calendar authentication process.

Step 2: Create a Recurring Calendar Event

Create a recurring meeting event in your connected calendar:

  • Google Calendar

  • Outlook Calendar

Note: Be sure to include a supported conferencing link, such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom in your calendar event.

Step 3: Create a New 1:1

  1. In Lattice, create a new 1:1.

  2. Connect the 1:1 to the recurring calendar event you created.

  3. When prompted, choose whether to invite Lattice Agent in 1:1s:

    • Invite to this 1:1 only

    • Invite to this and all upcoming 1:1s

Once invited, Lattice Agent in 1:1s will automatically join eligible meetings associated with the selected 1:1.

Invite Lattice Agent to Existing 1:1s

  1. Open an existing 1:1.

  2. Select the Lattice Agent in 1:1s dropdown.

  3. Choose one of the following options:

    • Invite to this 1:1 only

    • Invite to this and all upcoming 1:1s

What to Expect During the Meeting

When the meeting begins:

  • Lattice Agent in 1:1s will automatically join the meeting at the scheduled time.

  • A notice in the meeting chat will explain what information the agent is capturing.

  • Only the meeting host can remove the agent from the meeting.

Remove the Agent from a Meeting

If needed, the meeting host can remove the agent during the meeting:

Zoom

  1. Locate Lattice Agent in 1:1s in the participant list.

  2. Click the three-dot menu.

  3. Select Remove.

Google Meet

  1. Locate Lattice Agent in 1:1s in the participant list.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the participant.

  3. Select Remove from the call.

What to Expect After the Meeting

After the meeting ends, your 1:1 in Lattice will include:

  • Action items automatically assigned to the appropriate participant

  • Suggested agenda items for your next 1:1

  • Meeting summary with topic-based notes

  • Coaching insights for both participants

    • Coaching insights are individual to each meeting participant. A manager cannot view the coaching insights generated for their direct report, and vice versa.

Note: Meeting summaries, action items, agenda suggestions, and coaching insights generated by Lattice Agent in 1:1s are only available within Lattice 1:1s.
