Once enabled, Total Compensation will always be visible to employees. Therefore, keeping the data as up-to-date as possible is essential to ensure maximum accuracy.

Pay data (base, variable, bonus)

Lattice recommends syncing with your HRIS to ensure it stays updated with the latest pay data. Otherwise, admins must manually upload pay data with new changes.

Compensation bands

Comp bands must be updated manually when there's a change in band or employee assignments.

Equity

Equity must be uploaded manually when new additions are made. Generally, companies only issue equity a few times a month (e.g., around board meetings), so Lattice would only need to be updated then.

Equity value

Equity value must be updated when an equity event might result in a change in share price (e.g., a new funding round). Generally, updating value is done rarely.

Equity scenarios

Equity scenarios must be updated if admins want to update the Total Compensation employee view. Scenarios allow employees to see the potential future value of their equity.
