How to export a track from Lattice into a CSV
After a track has been created, Admins can export the track into a CSV file. The steps below walk through two ways to export an existing track from Lattice!
Exporting a Track via CSV
Step 1: Enter the Admin tab and navigate down to the Grow console. Select "Tracks"
Step 2: Click on the ellipses next to the track you'd like to export. Next select "Export as CSV"
As an Admin, you can also export a track via CSV from directly within that track.
Step 1: Click into the track you'd like to export (from Admin tab > Grow > Tracks > Auditing). In this case, if I want to export the "Product" track, I'll click on the word Product.
Step 2: Select the settings gear icon in the top right corner of your instance. From here, select "Export as a CSV" in the dropdown.
Note: Admins are able to export both published and drafted tracks.
FAQs
Q: Can I update an existing track by re-uploading the CSV?
A: At this time, there's not a way to make updates to a track by re-uploading the CSV. In this case, we'd recommend creating a new track (with the updated CSV) and putting your outdated track in a "draft" mode.
