Make changes to your review template and the questions in them
Admins can edit a review template. The aspects of a template that can be edited will depend on the status of the template they wish to change.
Before you start
Lattice recommended templates, In Use Competency questions, and In Use Goal questions cannot be edited.
Changes will be applied to the template bank for future uses of this template. If a review cycle is already using this template, the previous version will remain unless changes are made through the review cycle’s settings.
To learn how to edit a template for an active review cycle, please follow the steps in How to Edit a Question in an Active Review Cycle.
The Template page
Navigate to the Admin > Reviews > Templates page.
The ability to edit a template depends on the status of the question. Templates can hold three statuses:
- In Use Template: an In Use template has been used in a review cycle, therefore, all questions within the template are considered In Use
- Draft Template: a Draft template has not been used in a review cycle, however, it can contain both In Use and Draft questions
- Lattice recommended Template: a Lattice default template that includes Lattice recommended questions
