Policy types allow Admins to group common reasons for time off. Examples of Policy Types are: Vacation, Sick, or Bereavement.
Policy types also act as the employee-facing display name for their time off policies. When an employee requests time off, they will see the policy type as the time off name.
- Navigate to Admin > Time Off > Policies
- Select Create > New policy type
- Enter the policy type in the Name field and select the relevant icon
- Use the Create button
