Problem
Receiving a "Row contains compensation band row with duplicate job function error" when I try to upload the compensation band CSV
Getting error saying there are duplicate combinations of job level, type, and function
Why are we getting an error when uploading comp bands saying there are duplicates?
Resolution
There must be a unique combination of Job level, Function, and Type in order for the upload to work.
To resolve the errors, use the Pay zone field as a differentiator or "tiebreaker." While the field says Pay zone, it's an open field that can be filled with anything. For example, you could enter "NOC" vs. "Network" to differentiate those rows that have the same job level, function, and type and are causing errors.
