Drawing actionable insight from engagement surveys by rating question review results
If you're using rating questions in your review templates, you can use them to analyze your engagement survey results. You can choose any rating question from any review cycle that you'd like.
Filtering by Rating Questions
In either the list view or heatmap, you can apply rating question filters to your survey results. Follow these steps to filter results through rating questions:
Step 1: Navigate to the Results tab of the survey
Step 2: Click on the filter icon
Step 3: Under Performance, select "Review Cycles"
Step 4: Click on the desired review cycle and select "Rating Questions"
Step 5: Click the desired question
After selecting the rating question, you can pick which review direction and response types you want to filter by.
Grouping by Rating Questions
In the survey results, Heatmap, you can group themes and questions by rating questions. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Select "Heatmap" view
Step 2: Click on the "Group by"
Step 3: Under Performance, select "Review Cycles"
Step 4: Click on the desired review cycle and select the desired rating question
You can choose between rating questions or scored attributes (if applicable).
After selecting your rating question, you can click into the box indicated by the red arrow above to select a different question.
You'll see each review direction that contained the rating question. If you want to isolate your survey responses in a particular direction, check on the Direct Reports (Upward), Self, Peer, or Manager (Downward) buttons to include them in your grouping.
