Custom role Grow permissions allow admins to give specific employees admin-like access to the Grow tool. Custom role Grow permissions can be global. Global permissions give custom role owners access to all users in your organization.

Global permissions
The Global permissions allow custom role owners to manage Grow for all employees.
1. Grow admin
The Grow admin permission allows custom role owners to manage tracks. This permission will not be available in the list of global permissions unless Grow is enabled.
Permissions include:
- Full access to Grow settings, including turning on/off Grow
- Create and edit a track
- Create and edit competencies
- Create and edit track levels
- Create and edit track expectations
- Access to the Grow adoption page.

2. View career tracks
The View career tracks Grow permission allows custom role owners to make tracks visible to employees assigned to them.
Permissions include:
- Publish tracks
- Unpublish tracks
Custom role owner view
The custom role owner will have an admin page they can access by clicking Switch to admin. Within the admin page, they will only see the Grow tool.
