Goals are an easy way to track professional and personal objectives. By using goal cycles, you will have the ability to send notifications and monitor progress on your organizations goals for a specific time period. This help center article will walk you through the different phases of goal cycle creation. To create a new goal cycle go to the "Admin" Page and click "Goals" on the lefthand side.
Step 1: Create new cycle
Step 2: Give your goal cycle a name, start date and due date
Step 1: Select the types of goals that you want people to set
Goals can be for an Individual, a Department and/or the Company.
Step 2: Add a subject and body to your goal setting emails
You can add in any additional information that you feel would be beneficial for your organization to know e.g. expectations for updating goals, frequency, ect. The email will include an action button that states "Set goals" that will take them into lattice.
Step 4: Send yourself a preview (optional)
Step 5: Verify all of the information is correct. If you need to make any changes, click back into Notifications.
Step 6: Create your goal cycle!
Please note: If you would like to turn notifications off, you are able to toggle to disable any goal cycle notifications
Once you have launched the goal cycle process you can track the goals under the goal cycle.
When creating your goal cycle, here are a few things that you might want to keep in mind:
- When you are creating a company goal, you have the ability to create a custom role for an employee. This will give the employee with a custom role the ability to create a company goal.
- You are able to change the settings once the goal cycle has been created. To do so, toggle over to "Setup" and this will take you to back into the settings.
