Product Updates For Admins


Custom Fields

You can now set up custom fields in Lattice for your employees. To do this, go to Admin > People > Custom Fields. You can add a custom field for any piece of defined information that you would like tied to your employees in Lattice. You can also determine the visibility of that information on their profile.

Custom fields can be used a few different ways:

  • Storing information on employees' profiles
  • Setting up custom templates within a review cycle
  • Viewing your engagement data

Review templates by custom fields

When creating a review cycle, you can now apply different templates per reviewer group based on department or custom field. You can set this up from the Reviewers section inside the review cycle setup flow.

Once you've enabled the feature, you'll see the ability to determine how you would like to group the reviewers.

Once you have selected the group, you will then be able to apply different templates for each of those reviewer groups.

Change attribute scorer in review cycle

Once you've launched a review cycle, you can now change the individual filling out scored attributes. To do this, go into the review cycle and click on the employee's name in the Reviewee's table that is being scored. On the right-hand side, we will display the attribute scorer and allow you to edit that individual.

Navigating between direct reports within 1:1s

Managers can now easily navigate between their 1:1 agendas for each of their direct reports. When viewing an agenda, they will now see a filter option where they can choose which direct report they would like to view.

We've made a few changes to our Help Center that we hope helps you navigate around easier:

  • You can now find tool specific video tutorials in the tool specific sections.
  • Reviews are now broken out into three sections - Creating Review Cycles, Participating in a Review, and Administering a Review.

Product Refresher For Admins


Viewing survey data by custom field

Once you have input your custom fields into Lattice, you can view your survey data by that custom field. As a reminder, you'll want to make sure to apply the custom field prior to launching your survey.

Once your survey is complete, navigate to the Results section within the survey. From here, click into "Heatmap" and go to the drop-down for "Group by". Here, you will see the custom field(s) you've created and be able to start filtering and grouping by that field.
